We are situated in Tauranga / Mount Maunganui at the heart of the Bay of Plenty, North Island of New Zealand.

A huge marine playground surrounded by vineyards and lush orchards and close to the major tourist attractions of Rotorua and Lake Taupo. Come with us and enjoy this very special and unique totally natural experience with wild dolphins, both common and bottlenose that are resident in huge numbers swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Pacific Ocean.

Many thousands of dolphins live in the bay, so your chances of viewing these awesome creatures in their natural habitat are far greater with us than anywhere in New Zealand.

Dolphin Seafaris is a founder member of the Tourism Bay of Plenty 'Sustainable Tourism Charter' and actively promotes Responsible Tourism on board our vessel. We use biodegradable cups, environmentally friendly cleaners, paper and practice recycling of all of our waste.

Our vessel ‘Guardian’ is a purpose built, fully licensed 50 ft luxury super fast Cougar Catamaran, crewed by expert marine biologists / naturalists and dive masters who will ensure that your experience will be the highlight of your visit to the North Island of New Zealand. We operate daily trips at 8.00am from Tauranga & Mount Maunganui year round and bookings in advance are essential.
